Order Pickers – Barendrecht, Netherlands | EU NATIONALITY REQUIRED | €15.68 GROSS per Hour + Allowances | Accommodation Available
We are looking for experienced and motivated Order Pickers / Warehouse Workers for a modern supermarket distribution centre in Barendrecht, the Netherlands.
You will be responsible for collecting and preparing fresh and chilled supermarket products using an English voice-picking system.

Position: Order Picker / Warehouse Worker
Location: Barendrecht, Netherlands
Basic Salary: €15.68 GROSS per hour
Holiday Allowance: 8%, paid weekly
Vacation Hours: 8.51%, saved and paid during holidays
Working Days: Monday to Sunday, according to schedule
Accommodation: Available at €142.45 per week
Health Insurance: €38 per week
YOUR WORK
As an Order Picker, your responsibilities will include:
Collecting and stacking supermarket products
Picking orders using an English voice-directed system
Working with a trolley to collect products
Checking products and quantities for accuracy
Handling products weighing approximately 10–12 kg on average
Occasionally lifting packages weighing up to 25 kg, depending on the department
Preparing orders for distribution
Following warehouse safety and quality procedures
Maintaining a clean and organised workplace
Working temperature: Approximately 0°C to +5°C.
Employees who demonstrate good performance may have the opportunity to receive Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) training.
WORKING HOURS
Two main shifts are available:
Morning: 05:00–13:00
Afternoon: 16:00–00:00
Work may be scheduled from Monday to Sunday.
SALARY AND ALLOWANCES
Basic Salary: €15.68 GROSS per hour
Additional allowances:
Monday–Friday, 19:00–23:00: +25%
Monday–Friday, 23:00–06:00: +40%
Saturday, 00:00–06:00: +40%
Saturday, 15:00–23:00: +25%
Saturday, 23:00–00:00: +100%
Sunday, 00:00–23:00: +100%
Sunday, 23:00–00:00: +40%
Overtime above 38 worked hours per week: +35%, according to the supplied conditions
ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSPORT
Accommodation: €142.45 per week
Shared accommodation, two people per room
Accommodation details provided upon arrival
Transport to work is free for employees using company-arranged accommodation.
Bicycle or electric bicycle provided when accommodation is within 15 km of the workplace
Company transport available when accommodation is more than 15 km away
Employees with a driving licence may be asked to drive a company vehicle
Transport is not provided for employees arranging their own private accommodation.
Health Insurance: €38 per week if arranged through the employment agency.
REQUIREMENTS
EU nationality / valid EU passport or ID required
Good English communication skills
Ability to understand English voice-picking instructions
Physically fit and comfortable with manual warehouse work
Willingness to work in chilled temperatures
Flexible availability for morning, afternoon and weekend shifts
Reliable, motivated and team-oriented
Previous warehouse or order-picking experience is an advantage
