Landscaper & Gardener – Nijmegen, Netherlands | EU Citizens Only | Approx. €20.00 GROSS per hour | Accommodation available | Long-term employment | Immediate start possible
We are looking for an experienced and independent Landscaper & Gardener for a professional landscaping company in the Nijmegen region, the Netherlands.
This is a full-time, long-term position working on the construction and maintenance of private and commercial gardens. The preferred starting date is 21 September 2026, or as soon as possible.
YOUR WORK
As a Landscaper & Gardener, your responsibilities will include:
Constructing and maintaining private and commercial gardens
Planting trees, shrubs, flowers and other plants
Carrying out paving, groundwork and other landscaping activities
Pruning trees, shrubs and hedges
Performing general garden and grounds maintenance
Operating professional landscaping machinery, tools and equipment
Organising your own work and taking responsibility for assigned projects
Working independently or together with a colleague
Communicating professionally with customers when necessary
Projects vary from modern private gardens to complete commercial green and outdoor spaces.
REQUIREMENTS
EU citizenship / EU right to work – REQUIRED
Professional experience as a Landscaper or Gardener
Experience with both garden construction and garden maintenance
Ability to work independently without continuous supervision
Valid Category B driving licence – REQUIRED
English B1 or higher – REQUIRED
Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work
Practical, reliable and motivated
A professional landscaping or gardening qualification is an advantage, but relevant work experience is more important
SALARY AND WORKING HOURS
Approximately €20.00 gross per hour, depending on experience
Approximately 40 hours per week
Equivalent to approximately €3,467 gross per month based on 40 hours per week

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation can be arranged.
Cost: €149.90 per week
Initially, accommodation may be in a two-person studio
The aim is to arrange accommodation where each employee has a private bedroom
HEALTH INSURANCE

€37.11 per week
Accommodation: €149.90/week
Health insurance: €37.11/week
Total deductions: €187.01/week
