JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Assembly Technician for the electrical and mechanical assembly of complex installations and machine-building projects. You will construct, install, adjust and inspect technical systems according to drawings, diagrams and work instructions.
MAIN DUTIES
Assembling products, large machines and technical installations.
Performing mechanical and basic electrical assembly.
Reading technical drawings, diagrams and work instructions.
Installing, adjusting and checking machine components.
Monitoring work planning, progress and quality.
Informing the supervisor about project progress.
Working with project management and work-preparation departments.
Maintaining a clean and organised workplace according to 5S standards.
Identifying and suggesting improvements to working methods and processes.
Performing final inspections of completed systems.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum three years of assembly or mechanical-installation experience preferred.
Technical education at MBO Level 2 or 3, or an equivalent level obtained through professional experience.
Background in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a comparable field.
Experience with mechanical assembly.
Knowledge of pneumatics.
Basic knowledge of electrical engineering or electronics.
Able to read technical drawings.
Experience with hand tools and measuring equipment.
Good English; Dutch is an advantage.
Valid Category B driving licence.
EU citizenship.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
SALARY
€2.700–€3.000 gross per month, depending on experience.
CONDITIONS
Full-time employment.
Single private room in shared accommodation.
Dutch Metalworking Industry Collective Labour Agreement applies.
