Are you a Developer who is passionate about coding and who is keen to showcase their skills within a new challenging environment? If yes, then we have an amazing role for you!

We are urgently seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer, due to growth to create new functionality (as well as a bit of 3rd line support for the existing codebase). You’ll also build on a strong working relationship with Microsoft, and you’ll earn the respect of their technical teams as you go. You’ll engage directly with experts from Microsoft and the wider tech sphere, as well as with customers, and you’ll build your own profile and reputation rather than being an no one. Not only this, you will be working for a company who have won the ‘Enterprise Entrepreneur’ and shortlisted for ‘Scale Up Product of the Year’ Award.

You’ll form a key part of a team of developers, QA Engineer and Technical Architect in Reading, working on SaaS product. You’ll take part in sprints alongside other teams – spread across the globe.

Highly Desirable

Excellent T-shaped skills, with the “depth” bit in C#, MVC and JavaScript and breadth in some part of the tech space that excites you
Excellent JavaScript skills, including exposure to Bootstrap, knockout, knockback, angular, react, node or similar and a good understanding of the underlying processes involved in ajax

Desirable

Strong knowledge and experience of at least some of t-sql, Entity Framework, DI, TeamCity, Jenkins, Octopus, Azure, IIS, VisualStudio Online, git, PowerShell and Pickle (ok, we made that one up)
Independant
Problem solving skills and a solution-oriented approach
The ability to explain the very complex in a simple way
Interest in AI/ML, Hadoop, Pig, R, Q# and more
Hobby projects, github/stackoverflow/etc accounts you’re proud of and want to show off

There is an exciting time ahead for the SaaS product, and the next couple of years will see you incorporate artificial intelligence and machine learning, data lakes and factories, cloud apps and more into the tech stack.

As well as a competitive salary, pension contributions and holiday allowances, you’ll have the opportunity to directly influence both the technology and product roadmap of a growing, ambitious company with some amazing people in it. You’ll work alongside experts in a number of fields, and you’ll be put through training on the technical tools and platforms (including for Microsoft certifications).

Due to the urgency of this role, the application process will be open till 20/08/18. We will respond to all applications, so if this sounds like your perfect role, then contact Mike at PLR as soon as you can, discreetly, to be considered.
